Certificate Ordering Service
Please Note - the Kent Registration District does not include the Medway Towns of Chatham, Gillingham, Rochester or Strood or the London Boroughs of Greenwich and Bromley.
The Kent Libraries, Registration and Archive Service holds records of all births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships that have occurred in the Kent and Bexley Registration Districts since records began on 1st July 1837.
The certificate ordering service is for on-line applications payable by credit/debit card.
Orders are issued within 5 working days and sent by 2nd class post. The order process includes an optional “Priority Production Service”. Priority orders received before 3:00pm are issued on the day of application and sent by 1st Class Post that day.
Once your order has been completed you will receive an email with your order reference number. You should quote this if you need to contact us about your order.
If your order is for multiple entries each request will generate its own individual reference number. As each individual order is processed you will receive an email notification.
If you are unable to use our online ordering service, you can contact or attend the Certificate Centre in person.
